Savusavu Origin Noble Kava Review
A strong peppery taste and will get you to the relaxation point fast. We recommend 1-2 tablespoons per 500ml of water for quick relaxation.
1 x 500ml session should give you that heady sensation but 2 x 500ml sessions will go straight to the body leaving you with a full body sensation.
Drink in 100ml shots every 10-15min so that 1 x 600ml serve is approximately 5-6 cups stretched out over a period of 45min - 1hr.
This is a waka dominant variety and extremely effective. However the more you drink the harder it will be to wake up the next day, with the best sleep ever.
Arrives vacuum packed so the potency, freshness and flavour is locked into the bag. You will not find a stronger kava than this for the money.
A traditional grind means you will need a strainer bag but its well worth the effort.
Strongly recommended for those who wish to have a substitute for alcohol or a simple and effective after work drink.
Please note this is not an instant kava and you will require a strainer cloth for this product. Available Here
WHY BUY FROM KAVAPROS
With so many kava brands coming into Australia it makes it hard to choose a quality product. Not anymore!
Not Your Average Kava Vendors
At Kava Pros we ensure every single root is graded, dried and processed to perfection before sealing each bag. If not processed, packed or dried correctly kava can go bad very fast due to high moisture content especially during the Australian autumn & winter seasons. This is why we take extra care with each bag that holds the Kava Pros and Royal Fiji Kava label.
Preparation is the Key
Kava Pros have been involved in the agro-processing industry in Fiji for over 2 decades the knowledge and experience in kava processing is second to none. We know all our farmers and also process our own product. Kava Pros regularly inspect their facilities and never deal with backyard processors or middlemen.
Kava Pros ensures all kava is processed and packed to international standards. Although we can't divulge our secrets to processing a superior kava product, the proof is always in the pudding.
Packaging for Freshness
In Fiji much of our drinking kava is packed in paper bags. With the tropical climate most excess moisture in the kava is absorbed by the paper leaving less room for the growth of pathogens. Unfortunately in the Aussie climate this does not happen especially in the colder months.
Any kava drinker in Australia will tell you that kava can develop a mouldy smell quite quickly. With thousands of kilos being imported into Australia without the proper preparation or packaging there will no doubt be tonnes of bad kava for sale right now.

KNOW YOUR KAVA
WAKA - LATERAL ROOT
This is the business end of the kava root where the majority of the kavalactones is held.
Its strong, hard hitting and a dark colour when mixed. If your kava looks dark in colour you can be sure it is a waka dominant powder.
LEWENA - BASAL ROOT
This is the less sedative part of the root system and located just above the waka and below the stem. Its smooth milky and plesent tasting and perfect for social occasions.
Kasa - Stem (Buyer Beware)
The kasa is used by dishonest sellers to bulk up the weight of thier product and it is truly an ugly part of the kava trade. Kasa should only be used for replanting. When pounded up with waka and lewena there is really no way to tell what it is you're drinking. The only way to tell is when you feel sick and hungover the next day.
Kava pros can confirm we never use kasa or stem in any of our kava products.
Kava Pros do not buy or trade kava less than 3 years old. Kava Pros firmly believe that kava root should be left in the ground for an absolute minimum of 3 years.
We do not encourage our farmers to harvest their crop unless its at least 3 years old.

I am totally blown away at the quality of the kava. The best you can get.
I have mine with chilled water and it is both relaxing and refreshing.
My Fijian husband says that the kava is very good quality.
My favourite kava that I have tried. Nice and strong! Great quality, fine grind. Highly recommend!
Out of all the Kavas I've tried this is definitely the easiest to drink. I didn't find it to be that strong. I did need to use a lot to get the strong effect. Really nice and calming. I've since tried the 9YO Fijigold which is a lot stronger and I don't use as much for same effect. But this is definitely a nice Kava for first time users.
I have been drinking instant Kava for a while and thought I would try something different. Wow, this stuff is great after a hard day's work.
